217: Excessive Legislation and Marginalization

The Scurvy Forward:
The ability to have one’s voice heard is what makes them a person in the eyes of the public.

Time and again in history, whenever a people has lost the ability to have their voice heard in a medium that can project empathy and passion to the people at large, they have lost the right to be considered a person by the lawmakers. Though we may cast many an ill glance at the film industry in the past decade, it has provided that valuable service.
